Depending on their preference and suitability, our practice trainees can expect to be exposed to at least two areas of practice, which shall include corporate practice under our Corporate and Compliance practice, civil litigation practice under our Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, and conveyancing practice under our Personal Law practice.
As we believe in providing each of our trainees the best training possible, all of our trainees are personally mentored by our managing partner, Mr Loo Choon Chiaw, who shall assume the role of Supervising Solicitor in the practice trainee contracts offered by us.
We offer all of our practice trainees at least a monthly honorarium of S$1,500 per month during the practice training contract period, with additional reimbursements upon retention as determined on a case-by-case basis.
Our practice trainee programmes are customised to fit and groom each practice trainee as an individual with a view of not only making each of them part of our dynamic team, but also the best that each practice trainee can be based on his or her strengths, weaknesses and personal vision. All of our practice trainees are trained and guided by not only our managing partner, but also our other lawyers and support staff, who ensure that they grow not only professionally, but also personally, to be able to manage the heavy responsibilities that our lawyers are afforded early in their careers for the diverse but quality exposure they receive in their careers. Our practice trainees are assessed holistically throughout the programme, and if suitable, are retained as part of the team at the end of the practice trainee programme.
